David Jordan, MTS, MA, LPC, CPCS, CCTP-II, CPATP

Clinical Director

David is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia and has been since 2006. He is also a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II), a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider, and he holds a certificate in NeuroPsychology. He is also a shamanic practitioner, teacher, and ceremonialist. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University, a Master of Theological Studies from Emory University, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College, and he completed a multi-year apprenticeship in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition of Cross-Cultural Shamanism through The Heart of the Healer Shamanic Mystery School. His area of specialty is traumatic stress. David utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including: EFT (Tapping), Mindfulness Meditation, Internal Family Systems, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAT), and Cognitive Behavioral techniques. 


David’s professional experience includes:

  • Individual counseling in both residential and community settings
  • Group counseling in both residential and community settings
  • Clinical Director for the Winn Way Mental Health Center, Clifton Springs Mental Health Center, and the Dekalb Addiction Clinic for the DeKalb Community Service Board. 
  • Field counselor for a wilderness-based, leadership development, residential treatment program for adolescents.
  • Clinical Supervisor for associate and independently licensed counselors, social workers, and family therapists
