Albert J. Doodles, aka Albie, a black labrador/pitbull mix, was a tiny, skinny puppy two years ago when he was found cowering near the doors of an elementary school on a cold winter day. He had a cheap rope around his neck that he chewed through in order to escape the yard where he was tied to a tree. Weighing only 19 pounds, he was pretty dirty and had no microchip, so Shannon and Mark took him in and nursed him to health with the help of our wonderful veterinarian, Dr. Kevin Wilson, at 5 Points Animal Hospital in Fuquay Varina. He is now 60 pounds, super shiny and healthy, and full of life. He's a pretty naughty teenager, but we adore him to pieces and feel blessed by the universe for bringing him to us. We don't know his birthday, but Shannon thinks that he is definitely some kind of Gemini/Aquarius/Sag blend! He spreads smiles and joy wherever he goes.
